What can you expect in a home birth -
- Family Involvement
- Cost Effective
During your homebirth you will find your birth team of midwives, an assistant, a doula and/or photographer if you’ve hired one, your partner, your pet, or any other family or support person you may want there for you. You make these decisions. If your older children being present for the birth of their new sibling is in your plans, we support that. We monitor you and baby throughout labor and help make adjustments based on those findings.
Waterbirth is a safe and valid option for labor and birth. Submerging into water can be relaxing, soothing, and it is a peaceful way to labor and birth your baby. Each labor and birth is different and how a laboring person feels can change in a moment. A birth pool is available and part of our package for all planned home births.

If you have had a cesarean and are interested in a different kind of care, midwife care might be what you are looking for. Though we can’t promise you a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) we can pledge to give you the most supportive care. Whether you are seeking a home birth, a waterbirth, a hospital birth, or a repeat cesarean delivery - we will spend time with you providing the best maternity care, education, and support possible.
The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology supports VBAC.
